Gritbuster says goodbye to waste water in expensive recycling process.
New washing and wet waste recycling system puts time-consuming and expensive treatment of waste materials (such as gully waste, road sweepings, sand or gravel) to an end.
The Gritbuster uses water to separate undesirable materials in the input material and recovers it by its own closed-loop water treatment circuit. Like this, the Gritbuster system works independently of water supply infrastructure. The machines are not only suitable for stationary, but even for mobile applications and in particular for on-site use.
Especially in case of wet waste streams the separation by size and density has been extremely difficult till now. The Gritbuster on the other hand achieves an outstanding separation performance while using water as a separating medium in an environmentally friendly and resource-saving way.
The materials are washed and separated based on density with the result that a faultless separation is achieved (for example pure gravel, sand or sludge) without undesirable contaminants.
All machines work on the same principle. Clean water is used to wash and sort the waste streams throughout the complete installation. The cleaner the washing water, the higher the quality of the final product. Because water is a valuable good and not just available in limitless quantities, the Gritbuster recycles the used water as well. The integrated water treatment unit, manufactured by Siltbuster, ensures a self-containing circuit, which supplies the recycling process with clean water over and over again like an endlessly continuing process.
